Fitness sessions help to improve strength, agility, coordination and endurance. I believe in training our bodies in a functional way to improve everyday movements, prevent injuries and to make daily living easier. These sessions are designed according to what your specific goals are and can incorporate a variety of equipment, body weighted exercises, interval training and different movement patterns.
yoga
60 minute session. Private or Semi-Private.
Yoga sessions incorporate mobility, balance, meditation & breathing techniques. The emphasis is based on the teachings of Iyengar, which focus on alignment and the use of props to assist and enhance the experience. Not only do I base my sessions around alignment but also how it feels in the body, acknowledging that all bodies are different. I offer a wide variety of styles, from a more active flowing sequence, to balancing & grounding or a relaxing restorative practice. Each session is created to serve your needs.
thai massage
60, 75 & 90 minute sessions.
A thai massage incorporates muscle manipulation techniques with assisted stretches and meditation in order to achieve a deep state of relaxation and healing. This modality of compassionate touch emphasizes that each physical body is unique and has different needs. Each massage is catered to what you need at that specific time. Treatments are done fully clothed on a comfortable and padded mat on the floor. Essential oils can be used for the ultimate pampering and tension relief experience!
